My son loves to make Trail Mix.
Here he is making his famous Coconut-Nut Mix.
1 C. Shredded Coconut
1 C. Almonds
1 C. Raisins
1 C. Pumpkin seeds (Pepitas)
1 C. Rolled Oats
1 C. Pecans
1 C. Cashews
Mix together the ingredients above.....or just about whatever you have on hand. We put it all in a bowl and then drizzle Coconut Oil and Agave over it. Mix it up well and spread it out on baking sheets.
Then put it in a 350 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until you can really smell the flavors melding together. Don't let it get too hot or it will burn, unless you like that taste. The kids have eaten burnt Trail Mix before and loved it, I prefer lightly toasted. LOL.
Let it cool completely for the agave and oil to "do their things" and enjoy!!!
