It has only a few ingredients and can we "whipped" up in no time, with just a few preparations.
Chocolate Mousse
1 can of coconut milk (not light)
1-4 T. Cacao powder
1-4 T. Palm sugar or Agave to taste
Put the can in the refrigerator overnight. (I used my electric mixer and put the metal bowl in the freezer for a few minutes before whipping the milk.) Open the bottom of the can and remove the clear water that settles to the bottom, or use it for another recipe. You will only use the white part of the milk. Empty the white part into the cold metal bowl and whip it with the whisk attachement until frothy. Add the cacao powder and sweetener into the bowl to taste, and then whip until completely mixed and frothy. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Oh yummy! I so have to whip this up tomorrow! I get excited when I find a recipe that's easy without too many ingredients.
ReplyDeleteThanks. My food motto in life is: "easy without too many ingredients." LOL. ;) If it has too many ingredients or ends up being too difficult, it usually does not get made more than once.
